WHAT IS A MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE MASSAGE?

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage is a highly specialised form of massage, which uses light, rhythmical, very precise

hand movements, pressures and sequences to remove toxins and excess fluids in the body. The massage works at a skin level

to influence the direction and speed of lymphatic flow, re-directing if necessary.

Where on the body?

The front of the body, (only in serious cases the back of the body will be worked on), face, neck, arms, hands, stomach, legs and feet

​

Strokes used during this treatment:
Soft and slow pumping, rotary, sweeping, kneading and scooping strokes

​​

During this treatment you will be lying on the massage bed and covered with a towel where necessary
